JAN 2'& 0" <br />HOK 8 <br />Evans Properties, Inc. has requested that a site plan extension be <br />granted. Due to permitting delays, Evans Properties has been <br />unable to accomplish formal establishment and release of the <br />approved site plan. The original site plan approval for the <br />project formally expired on December 4, 1991; however, the request <br />for site plan extension was received prior to expiration of the <br />approved site plan. <br />The County adopted and implemented its new Land Development <br />Regulations in September of 1990. While some regulations have <br />changed, the changes are not significant enough to warrant <br />revisions to the project's design if it were reviewed as a new <br />application today. The members of the Technical Review Committee <br />(TRC) concur that the LDR changes that have occurred since the <br />initial project review and approval are not significant enough to <br />require any site plan revisions. <br />Evans Properties, Inc. is requesting a full one (1) year extension <br />of the approved site plan. As this request for site plan extension <br />was received prior to expiration of the approved site plan, the <br />Board may grant, or grant with additional conditions, the requested <br />site plan extension pursuant to the site plan ordinance. In <br />staff's opinion, the current subject site plan application would <br />substantially conform to current requirements. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board oCCounty Commissioners approve of <br />the Evans Properties, Inc.'s request for a one (1) year extension <br />for the approved airstrip and special excdPtion use. The new site <br />plan expiration date will be December 4, 1992. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously granted <br />a one (1) year extension for the approved airstrip <br />and special exception use; the new site plan <br />expiration date being December 4, 1992, as recommended <br />by staff. <br />H.
