US -92 -03 -ED <br />BACKGROUND <br />On January 15, 1992, the Department of Utility Services received six <br />(6) responses to the Request for Proposal to provide engineering <br />services for the above -referenced study and design project. The <br />selection committee reviewed the six (6) responses and selected five <br />(5) firms to be interviewed for the project. <br />ANALYSIS <br />On January 30, 1992, the selection committee interviewed the five (5) <br />firms and as a result of the interviews, ranked the firms as follows: <br />1. Masteller and Moler, Inc. <br />2. James M. Montgomery, Inc. <br />3. Missimer and Associates, Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners authorize the Department of Utility Services to conduct <br />negotiations and to proceed with an agreement with the first choice <br />firm of Masteller and Moler, Inc., based upon the outcome of the <br />negotiations.
