MCCULLY It ASSOCIATES - FINAL PAYMENT <br />The Board reviewed memo from County Engineer Roger Cain dated <br />March 2, 1992: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director <br />FROM: Roger D. Cain, P.E. ✓� <br />County Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Consulting Services for the Replacement <br />Avenue Bridge over the South Relief Canal <br />McCully & Associates - Final Payment <br />DATE: March 2, 1992 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />of the 20th <br />- Marshall, <br />This bridge has been completed and is constructed. The consultant <br />was to provide some construction services during construction, <br />which he has done, and is now submitting a final pay request for <br />this project-: The original contract -was for $46,000.00, the total <br />of the payments made so far is $37,498.90, leaving an amount to be <br />paid to the consultant, including the release of retainage, of <br />$8,501.10. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Alternative No. 1 - Pay the final payment and release the retainage <br />in the amount of $8.501.10. <br />Alternative No._a - Not to make final payment and release and <br />continue to hold retainage. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Public Works is recommending that because of the satisfactory <br />completion of the consulting services agreement, the final payment <br />and retainage should be released to the consultant, Marshall, <br />McCully & Associates in the amount of $8,501.10. Funding to be <br />from Account No. 111-214-541-033.19. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />released the final payment and retainage to <br />consultant Marshall, McCully & Associates in the <br />amount of $8,501.10, as recommended by staff. <br />63 <br />r - <br />BOOK. i� PA.lE j cO <br />
