I <br />'i <br />BOOK 0 F1.0 <br />Commissioner Eggert asked if the Board wished staff to look <br />further into this about whether we should have tougher regulations, <br />etc., and Commissioner Bowman especially wanted to know more about <br />the child care vouchers. <br />The Board directed staff to obtain clarification of the <br />regulations. <br />REPORT ON BOARD' S MOTION OF MARCH 10 1992 TO HAVE STATE ATTORNEY' S <br />OFFICE CONVENE A GRANT JURY TO INVESTIGATE THE COUNTY COMMISSION <br />AND STAFF <br />Chairman Eggert wished to note for the record that State <br />Attorney Bruce Colton has said it would be very difficult to do a <br />investigation -of the total Commission and that the moment any <br />specific evidence came forward on anyone it would be dealt with <br />through the Ethics Commission.and go forward from there. <br />Commissioner Scurlock wished to note for the record that the <br />temporary injunction wasn't granted and that Judge Smith ruled that <br />there wasn't any documented evidence that a conflict existed on the <br />day of the vote. <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY APPOINTMENTS <br />Chairman Eggert understood that Governor Chiles has appointed <br />Godfrey Gipson and Sheila Engle to the IRC Housing Authority and <br />that the Motion today would be to accept the Governor's <br />appointments. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commissioner <br />Scurlock, the Board unanimously accepted Governor Chiles' <br />appointments of Godfrey Gipson and Shiela Engle to the <br />IRC Housing Authority. <br />REPORT FROM FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES - GOVERNOR'S REQUEST TO <br />COUNTY GOVERNMENT REGARDING IMPACT OF CURRENT BUDGET PASSED BY <br />LEGISLATURE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 3/13/92: <br />54 <br />
