SECTION - 104 β€” PREVENTION, CONTROL, AND ABATEMENT OF EROSIO AND <br />WATER POLLUTION <br />PART 1 β€” GENERAL <br />1.1 SCOPE <br />A. This Section covers erosion control and the treatment of dewatering water and <br />runoff from the construction site and work area. The pollution control mea <br />prevent turbid or otherwise polluted waters from being discharged from the c <br />site or work area, to undeveloped portions of the site or off-site. <br />B. The OWNER considers pollution from dewatering water and stormwater ru <br />construction site or work area to be a very serious offense. The CONT <br />solely responsible for preventing pollution caused by dewatering water and <br />runoff from the construction site or work area. <br />C. The pollution control measures specified herein represent minimum stand <br />adhered to by the CONTRACTOR throughout the Project's construction. Th <br />reserves the right to require the CONTRACTOR to employ additional pollu <br />measures, when in the sole opinion of the OWNER, they are warranted.
