Provide copies of all permits to the OWNER and ENGINEER and comply with al <br />contained in all permits at no extra cost to the OWNER. If there is a conflict b: <br />permit requirement and these Specifications, the more stringent spec' <br />requirement shall govern. <br />C. In addition to paying for all permit fees, CONTRACTOR shall also pay for all w <br />sampling and laboratory tests required by any permit. <br />1.3 GENERAL <br />A. Do not begin any other construction work until the pollution control an• <br />system has been constructed in accordance with approved plans and p <br />approved for use by the OWNER and applicable permitting authorities. <br />B. From time to time, the OWNER or ENGINEER will inspect the pollution <br />treatment system and may take effluent samples for analysis by a testing <br />selected and paid for by the OWNER. If at any time, the OWNER or : <br />determines that the pollution control and treatment system is not in com <br />the approved system, the OWNER or ENGINEER will shut the portion of <br />down that is not in compliance, and it shall remain shut -down until the pollu <br />and treatment system is properly constructed or repaired, and compli: <br />approved pollution control and treatment system plans and specifications <br />1 <br />C.
