" <br />AND STAFFED ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF OVERSIZING WATER MAIN <br />BACKGROUND <br />Village Green is looping its water distribution system to increase <br />its fire flow to meet minimum requirements. The County. Utilities <br />Department has requested the owner of Village Green to oversize the <br />proposed water line for our future use. We have also requested <br />stub -outs to be provided for future hookups to..tthe West. <br />ANALYSIS <br />This is an'agreement between the developer and Indian River County <br />for reimbursement of said water mains. The improvement in Village <br />Green Water Distribution System requires an 8" water main on 74th <br />Avenue; we have asked the developer to increase the line size to 12" <br />to accommodate anticipated connections. This shall be paid for out <br />of impact fee funds. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of the <br />attached agreement with PMRA/CWS Mobile Home Partners for <br />reimbursement as stated above. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the agreement with PMRA/CWS Mobile Home Partners for <br />reimbursement of $23,120 for oversizing the water <br />main, as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />4.1 <br />MAR 2 4, `992 <br />
