It is just that we like to be consistent and as legal as <br />we can, even if we are not sued. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, that the Board direct staff to work <br />with the County Attorney's office to research this and <br />hold a public hearing. <br />Under discussion, the question arose of whether Mr. Anthony <br />could continue to operate until a possible ordinance is adopted, <br />and staff advised that Mr. Anthony could operate from a licensed <br />flea market in this county. <br />Mr. Anthony noted that he could operate legally in Brevard <br />County, but he should not have to do so since he is based here in <br />Indian River County and has lived here for many years. <br />Director Keating advised that apparently it is not legal in <br />Brevard County either, but it appears that they do not enforce many <br />of their ordinances. <br />Mr. Anthony stated that he has a legal license from Brevard <br />County that states "seafood vendor". <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
