Part of our application requires us to demonstrate significant <br />local belief in the need for a League of Women Voters here in our <br />county. <br />This.is where you come in. <br />As a County Commissioner, you are indeed a prominent citizen <br />of Indian River County. We sincerely hope that you will draft a <br />brief letter in support of the establishment of an Indian River <br />County League of Women Voters. <br />Your letter should be forwarded to Joan Fox or me, as we are <br />the co -leaders of the Indian River County sponsored unit of the St. <br />Lucie County League of Women Voters. <br />If you*. have any questions or desire any further information, <br />please feel free me (569-8698), Joan Fox (567-9376) or Charlotte <br />Hoover, President of the St. Lucie County League and consultant to <br />our unit (335-0815). <br />We would appreciate your prompt response,. as we anticipate <br />completing' the remainder of our application within two weeks of <br />today's date.
