The Board reviewed memo from Assistant County Attorney Terry <br />O'Brien dated April 22, 1992: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien - Assistant County Attorney pe. <br />DATE: April 22, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: PUBLIC HEARING - 4/28/92 - REPEAL OF CHAPTER <br />10 1/ 2 - HOUSING <br />The subject chapter which is in the 1974 edition of the Code serves no <br />useful purpose at this time. Accordingly, a repeal of that Chapter has <br />been prepared for consideration. <br />REQUEST: <br />Staff recommends approval of the attached proposed ordinance and <br />authorization for the Chairman to sign. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 92-15 for the repeal of Chapter 10-1/2, <br />Housing, as recommended by staff. <br />ORDINANCE 92- 15 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, FOR THE REPEAL OF CHAPTER <br />10-1/29 HOUSING, OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND <br />DECLARING SAME TO BE NULL AND VOID, AND " <br />OF NO EFFECT. <br />WHEREAS, Article I of Chapter 10-1/2 which is a special act <br />that relates to municipalities and, therefore, is not a necessary part <br />of the new Code except in the appendix for special acts; and <br />45 <br />APR 2 8 1992 <br />
