US -88 -07 -SL <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Indian River County"s work authorization for engineering and <br />inspection services with Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. on the subject <br />facility was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on <br />February 11, 1992. The scope of services and the project budget <br />were also a part of the Board approval. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The Florida Department of Environmental Regulation and the U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency require that the enclosed <br />"Attachment E" to 40 CFR 33.1030 be a part of the existing contract <br />agreement with Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. The attachment applies to <br />subagreements for services and for construction, to price reductions <br />for defective cost data, to gratuities, to responsibility of the <br />contractor, and to final payment. <br />This attachment was inadvertently omitted from the work <br />authorization package of February 11, 1992. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve the attached subagreement for <br />incorporation as Attachment "E" into the existing contract with Camp <br />Dresser & McKee Inc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />incorporated the subagreement called Attachment "E" <br />into the existing contract with Camp Dresser & <br />McKee, Inc., as recommended by staff. <br />ADDENDUM 11 TO EXHIBIT "A" CONTRACT #2 <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />70 <br />_I <br />
