Baird„ Dir. REFERENCES: <br />Office of Mgmt. S Budgt. <br />On May 7, 1991 the Board of County Commissioners approved funding for the <br />Humane Society in the amount of $49,490 for the capital costs affiliated with <br />mandatory sewer hook-up. The estimated cost was as follows: <br />.$17,690 Impact Fees <br />23,300 Force Main, Sewer Line, and Lift <br />Station Modifications <br />81500 Well for Non -Potable Water <br />$49,490 <br />The Humane Society has received bids for the Force Main, Sewer Line and Lift <br />Stations Modifications which exceed the $23,300 by $8,345.11 (low bid <br />$31,645.11). <br />Additional funding for the short -fall is being requested by the Humane Society <br />from the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Recommendation <br />If the Board of County Commissioners do approve, the funding in the amount of <br />$8,345.11 will be from General Fund Contingencies. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />additional funding in the amount of $8,345.11 to <br />cover the shortfall in the estimated funding for the <br />Humane Society mandatory sewer hook-up, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />TO: Members of the Board SUBJECT: BUDGET AMENDMENT <br />of County Commissioners <br />NUMBER: 034 <br />FROM: Joseph A.
