CONSENT AGENDA <br />DATE: MAY 121 1992 <br />TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H. T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTO <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: OLD LIBRARY PROJECT <br />ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING FEES <br />BACKGROUND: <br />At their regular meeting on May 5, 1992, the Board authorized staff <br />to proceed with the subject project and appropriated the requested <br />funds. In that proposal was cost associated with Architectural and <br />Engineering fees for the project. A fixed fee of $10,000.00 had been <br />obtained from a local architect. Donadio and Associates was the firm <br />that made the proposal and recommended by staff. <br />Based on Board approval May 5th,_ a contract has been drawn up and _ <br />submitted to consummate an agreement between the County and Donadio <br />and Associates with a fixed fee of $10,000.00 <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends approval of the contract as submitted and requests <br />authorization for the Chairman to execute the appropriate documents. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-1, <br />Commissioner Bird being absent) approved and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the agreement <br />with Donadio and Associates in the fixed amount of <br />$10,000 for architectural and engineering fees, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID AGREEMENT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />G.
