HOLIDAY SURVEY OF COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br />The Board reviewed memo from Personnel Director Jack Price <br />dated May 5, 1992: <br />To: James Chandler, Date: May 5, 1992 <br />County Administrator <br />From: Jack Price, Personnelyake-4 Sub: Holiday Survey of <br />County Employees <br />At the Board of County Commissioner's meeting April 14, 1992, staff <br />was asked to conduct a survey of County employees regarding the <br />possible exchange of an existing holiday for Martin Luther King's <br />birthday. With 523 valid ballots returned, the results are <br />reported on the attached ballot form. <br />OLIDAY OUESTIONNA <br />The Board of County Commissioners asked that employees be surveyed <br />concerning observance of Martin Luther Ring, Jr.'s birthday (it <br />falls on January 18 in 1993) in exchange for one of the existing <br />paid holidays. Martin Luther Ring, Jr.'s birthday will become a <br />regular paid holiday if the exchange is made. You would still have <br />a total of 10 paid holidays per year. Please answer both questions <br />below and turn the ballot in to your supervisor today.
