Emergency Services Director Doug Wright advised that we have <br />sent a draft of the agreement to St. Lucie County and we are <br />expecting a favorable response shortly. <br />Chairman Eggert assumed that Indian River County would be <br />second to St. Lucie County in responding to emergencies in <br />Okeechobee, and Director Wright confirmed that to be the case. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Wheeler being absent) approved the <br />Interlocal Agreement for Mutual Aid with Okeechobee <br />County and authorized the Chairman's signature, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER JOHN E.
