SAY 2 6 1992 nor <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that Alternative No. 1, the purchase of the 1988 <br />Apollo II Thermoplastic Marking Machine, with trailer, for $2400 <br />be approved by the Board of County Commissioners since it will <br />increase efficiency at a very modest cost.(In fact the initial <br />year's savings of 200 crew -hours will more than pay for the <br />machine. <br />Payment for this Alternative can be easily covered by an existing <br />income account begun this past year. Reimbursing Traffic <br />Engineering for small projects accomplished at the request of <br />other departments, developers and non-profit agencies. This <br />account presently has in excess of $2500 and is expected to <br />increase by at least $2500 for projects already negotiated. <br />('transportation Fund 111-245-541-066,.49-Otr Mach.)
