Davis, P.E <br />Public Works Director <br />. t <br />FROM: Roger D. Cain, P.E. <br />County Engineer '`-- <br />SUBJECT: Fellsmere Sr. League Concession Stand (Alternate) <br />IRC Project No. 9007 <br />Final Pay Request - P.A.V.C.O Construction, Inc. <br />DATE: May 19, 1992 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Board of County Commissioners awarded this contract in the <br />amount of $35,626.00 on January 7, 1992. The contract specified <br />120 work days to complete the work. Work began and the county <br />started counting contract time on February 3, 1992, <br />The construction of the Fellsmere Sr. League Concession Stand has <br />been completed by P.A.V.C.O. Construction, Inc. within the time set <br />for completion. The project has been accepted by the County <br />Engineer. <br />Change Order No. 1 was approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on April 21, 1992 in the amount of $734.00. The <br />final cost of the project, including Change Order Number 2, is <br />$37,107.60. Change Order No. 2 covers all items as listed. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Alternative No. 1 - Approve the final pay request in the amount of <br />$4,383.00, which includes the balance due, retainage, and Change <br />Order No. 2 and authorize the Chairman to execute Change Order No. <br />2. <br />Alternative No. 2 - Deny the final pay request and change order. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1. <br />Number 004-108-572-066.39. <br />35 <br />Funding to be from Account <br />MAY 2 6 z'f'_' �� �. <br />
