Tuesday, June 2, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, June 2, 1992, at <br />9:00 o'clock A. M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman; Vice Chairman, Richard N. Bird, Gary C. <br />Wheeler, and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia Held, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Richard Speck of the Unitarian Universalist <br />Fellowship of Vero Beach gave the invocation, and Charles P. <br />Vitunac, County Attorney, led the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of a discussion <br />regarding scheduling an evening meeting to revisit the subject of <br />the Manatee Protection Plan. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously added <br />the above item to the Agenda as Item 9.A.1., and <br />changed Items 9.A.1. and 9.A.2. to 9.A.2. and <br />9.A.3., respectively. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Approval of Appointments of Deputy Sheriff by Sheriff Tim <br />Dobeck <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved the following appointments of Deputy <br />Sheriff by Sheriff Tim Dobeck: <br />UN 0-21992 <br />
