ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Alternative No. 1 - Approve the $5,400.00 fee as a Change Order to <br />the existing contract and direct the Chairman to execute the <br />amendment attached to this agenda item. The new contract amount <br />will be $236,241.00. <br />Alternative No. 2 - Not approve the amendment to the Consultanting <br />Engineering Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />County staff recommends the amendment be approved and the Chairman <br />directed to execute on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners <br />increasing the cost of the total of the project to $236,241.00. <br />Funding to come from Account No. 101-153-541-067.13. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Change Order and authorized the <br />Chairman to execute the Second Amendment to <br />Professional Engineering Services Agreement with <br />Kimball -Lloyd & Associates for a new contract amount <br />of $236,2,T1.00, as set out in staff's recommended <br />Alternative No. 1. <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT <br />The Board reviewed memo from County Traffic Engineer Michael <br />Dudeck dated May 27, 1992: <br />19 <br />JUN 1992 <br />
