The addition to the restroom cost is a result of <br />our experience at Golden Sands with access to the interior being <br />gained by unauthorized persons due to the lack of a barrier wallin <br />the roof area over the entrance doors. This represents a,design <br />change in the amount of $1,724.68. <br />Fencing was at the request of the Parks & Recreation Department. <br />The drywell for the water fountains is also a design change to <br />provide neater water fountain areas. <br />The installation of 50 Lineal Feet of 2" PVC conduit is an after <br />the fact change necessitated by Southern Bell's desire to run phone <br />lines around the ballfields and under the sidewalk rather than to <br />the center of the fields. This was done under authority of the <br />contingency funds approved with the award of the contract so as not <br />to delay the contractor. <br />Current Contract with Hunley-Hubbard <br />Including Change Order No. 3 $717,604.20 <br />Change Order No. 4 with Hunley-Hubbard 10.138.68 <br />New Total for Hunley-Hubbard Contract <br />if Change Order No. 4 is approved $727,742.88 <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Alternative No. 1 - Approve Change Order No. 4 in the amount of <br />$10,138.68. <br />Alternative No. 2 - Do not approve Change Order No. 4. <br />RECOMMENDATIONAND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1, with funding coming from <br />Account No. 001-210-572-066.51, for the South County Regional Park. <br />36 <br />� � r <br />
