There were no objections. <br />Commissioner Scurlock reported that people in the community <br />who actually collect this tax feel that advertising is the most <br />desirable use of the funds, and they are concerned that too many <br />dollars are being used for capital improvements and activities <br />other than advertising. Commissioner Scurlock questioned the need <br />to keep $61,000 in reserve, which he described as a significant <br />amount. He felt we should do everything we can to encourage <br />tourists to come into our community to generate employment. <br />4 <br />M M <br />.M <br />
