Like many <br />depressed areas, Gifford contains a mix of land uses and a supply of vacant industrial and <br />commercially designated land. On January 12, <br />2016, the BCC approved a resolution to continue to offer a 10% local iobs grant bonus to target <br />industries locating within the newly re -labeled "Enterprise Area".
