March 30, 2016 <br />heriff Deryl Loar <br />Indian River County <br />Chairman Bob Solari <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />1801 27'h Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />RE: NI otice of request for placement on the April 5. 2016 Board of <br />Dear Chairman Solari: <br />Please allow this letter to serve as a request to be added to the Constitutional Officers and Governmental <br />Agenciies portion of the April 5, 2016 Board of County Commission agenda. <br />Indian; River County Sheriffs Office (IRCSO), would like to notify Indian River County (IRC) that it is <br />applying for the 2016-2019 Department of Homeland Security Operation Stonegarden Grant. This grant, <br />if approved, will provide funding to reimburse overtime salaries for inter -coastal extra duty details based <br />on intelligence data received from Customs and Border Patrol. This is a continuation grant which has <br />been utilized by IRCSO since 2014. <br />The total dollar amount requested for 2016-2019 is $86,924.41. No funds match is required. The <br />completed application, along with the Indian River County Finance Office Grant Form, is included with <br />this request. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact Planner, Annette M.
