D. Recovery Actions <br /> 1. Initial Actions <br /> a. Collect and process information concerning recovery activities <br /> while the response phase of the disaster is still on-going. <br /> b. Identify resource requirements. <br /> C. Establish a duty roster, phone lists, message flow and tracking. <br /> d. Coordinate with the Indian River County GIS Department to <br /> establish and deploy damage assessment teams. <br /> 2. Continuing Actions <br /> a. Coordinate with EOC chiefs and key staff as needed. <br /> b. Manage message flow by logging all protective actions taken. <br /> C. Provide information support of recovery activities. <br /> d. Work with the Indian River County GIS Department to <br /> determine initial damage assessment estimates for submission <br /> to FDEM <br /> V. RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> A. Primary Agency: Indian River County Department of Emergency Services, <br /> Emergency Management Division <br /> As the primary agency, the Emergency Management Division will coordinate <br /> the overall efforts to collect, process, report, and display essential elements <br /> of information; and to facilitate support for planning efforts in response <br /> operations. <br /> B. Support Agencies -These agencies will identify and provide staff to support <br /> the ESF #5 damage and operational information related to individual ESF <br /> activities as needed. <br /> 1. City of Vero Beach Solid Waste & General Maintenance Services <br /> Department - Will collect local information with regards to damage <br /> and recovery operations. <br /> Indian River County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Annex I - Page ESF#5-4 <br />
