approved the submitted Contract for Construction, and the letter of <br />credit which represents 115% of the estimated cost to construct the <br />required improvements. It should be noted that all improvements <br />within Windsor will be private, with the exception of certain <br />utilities facilities that will be dedicated to Indian River County <br />as required by the Utility Services Department. <br />A portion of the area to be platted was previously platted with the <br />Windsor Phase I - PD plat. The easements existing within the <br />portion of the area being replatted will need to be released in <br />consideration of the easements being dedicated with this plat. <br />Attached is a resolution which has been approved by the County <br />Attorney's Office providing for the release of these easements. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners: <br />1. Grant final plat approval for Windsor Beachside Plat 1; and <br />2. Authorize the Chairman to execute the submitted Contract for <br />Construction of Remaining Required Improvements and accept the <br />letter of credit that secures the contract; and <br />3. Authorize the Chairman to execute the attached resolution <br />releasing easements within the portion of the area being <br />replatted. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Bowman being absent) granted final <br />plat approval for Windsor Beachside Plat 1; approved <br />the Contract for Construction of Remaining Required <br />Improvements and accepted the letter of credit that <br />secures the contract; and adopted Resolution 92-86, <br />releasing certain dedicated easements with the plat <br />of Windsor - Phase I PD, as set out in staff's <br />recommendation. <br />CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS IS ON FILE IN <br />THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />3 <br />'JUN <br />Fl� <br />
