e. ESF #15 will coordinate press releases for donations of <br /> volunteer resources with ESF #14. <br /> E. Recovery Actions <br /> 1. Initial Actions <br /> a. Using the materials included in the VRC go-kit, the Volunteer <br /> Reception Center may be activated by ESF#15 depending on <br /> the location, scope and magnitude of the event. All staging <br /> areas will be staffed by assigned individuals and assisted by <br /> volunteers. <br /> b. Coordinating with ESF #5 (Information and Planning) to <br /> determine the areas with greatest need. Based on this <br /> information, a priority for delivery of goods will be established. <br /> C. Volunteers will be screened and provided with information on <br /> the requirements necessary to participate in the volunteer <br /> effort. Once meeting the necessary credentialing <br /> requirements, volunteers will be issued an identification badge <br /> with lanyard or other form of identification (issued by the <br /> United Way) that will enable them to enter the affected areas <br /> as required. Security in the area will be advised on what forms <br /> of identification will be accepted. <br /> d. Volunteer coordinators at the VRC will receive volunteers and <br /> will instruct them as to what steps need to be followed for the <br /> event. <br /> f. The ESF #15 support agency will refer donated goods to the <br /> appropriate charitable organization for distribution. <br /> g. ESF#16 (Law Enforcement)will provide security for volunteer <br /> and donation efforts as requested through the EOC. <br /> h. All press releases will be coordinated through ESF#14 (Public <br /> Information). <br /> 2. Continuing Actions <br /> 1.
