COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> REPORTS TO: Board of County Commissioners <br /> MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> The County Administrator's responsibilities are executive in nature. They are <br /> designed to provide input into the policy making role of the Executive Group. The County <br /> Administrator is that individual who has the full authority to make decisions on all strategic <br /> matters affecting the County's participation of the incident. The County Administrator's <br /> responsibilities include: <br /> 1. Organizing to meet the needs of the incident. <br /> 2. Ability to sign a Local Declaration of Emergency when authorized by the BCC. <br /> 2. Establishing objectives and priorities. <br /> 4. Approving resource orders and releases. <br /> 5. Designating a replacement for shift change. <br /> 6. Assuring adequate return to Level III status for Indian River County. <br /> -2- <br />
