SECTION 010090 <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 1.1 GENERAL <br /> A. Visits to the construction site may be made by representatives of permitting <br /> or governing bodies. Submit details of all instructions from the above to <br /> the ENGINEER immediately. The Work will not be accepted by the <br /> OWNER until final acceptance has been received from the various <br /> Regulatory Agencies having jurisdiction. <br /> B. Furnish sufficient labor, construction equipment and materials, and work <br /> such hours, including night shifts and overtime operations, as may be <br /> necessary to insure the prosecution of the work in accordance with the <br /> approved progress schedule. If, in the opinion of the ENGINEER, the <br /> CONTRACTOR falls behind the progress schedule, take such steps as <br /> may be necessary to improve progress, all without additional cost to the <br /> OWNER The ENGINEER shall be compensated for his overtime services <br /> in accordance with the Supplementary Conditions, SC-6.02. <br /> C All salvageable material and equipment for which specific use, relocation or <br /> other disposal is not specifically noted, shall remain the property of the <br /> OWNER and shall be delivered to the OWNER at the following location: <br /> 4550 41st Street, at the CONTRACTOR's expense. All material and <br /> equipment not in salvageable condition, as determined by the ENGINEER <br /> and the OWNER, shall be disposed of by the CONTRACTOR, at the <br /> CONTRACTOR's expense. <br /> D. In addition to these Specifications all work must comply with the <br /> requirements of the local governing agency, St. Johns River Water <br /> Management District, Department of Environmental Protection, Army <br /> Corps of Engineers, Indian River Farms Water Control District, and all <br /> other applicable State or Federal agencies' specifications and permits. In <br /> the event of a conflict, the more stringent specification or requirement shall <br /> govern. <br /> E. Before performing any work outside the designated limits of the work site, <br /> secure any necessary permits and authorization from the applicable <br /> owner, or verify in writing that such has been previously obtained. Follow <br /> all requirements of any said permits or authorization. Give the ENGINEER <br /> and appropriate owner ten (10) days minimum notice before commencing <br /> construction operations outside the designated limits of the work site. <br /> 010090-1 <br />
