2. The project is required to comply with the "Green Commercial Building Designation Standard of the Florida Green Building Coalition, Inc." as specified in Division 1 Section "018113.13 Sustainable Design and Construction Requirements," Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), Commercial Building Certification Standards The Contractor has a significant responsibility to ensure compliance and certification is received. 3. The project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is subject to compliance requirements of the Buy America Act (1982) as amended as well as other standard Federal Requirements incorporated into the contract. The project requires the contractor to comply with the Davis Bacon Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, and Buy American requirements and other Federal requirements. For non-DBE prime contractors, participation of DBE subcontractors in an amount of work equal to or greater than 1% of the total bid is encouraged by the County.
