i <br /> IRC Work Order No. 2—Exhibit A" <br /> County Courthouse Security Gates/Wall Facilities <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br /> Scope of Services: <br /> Task I —Land Surveying: <br /> We shall perform a limited topographic survey to obtain the existing field conditions along the east <br /> side of the County Courthouse site to the east right-of-way line of 15th Avenue. The survey will <br /> extend from 20th Street north right-of-way line to the south line of 21s' Street. The survey shall be <br /> produced in AutoCAD on NAVD'88 datum. <br /> Task II— Design (Civil) /Site Plan Approval: <br /> We shall prepare a Site Civil Design Plan for the planned project improvements described above. <br /> The Plans shall include the following specific improvements- <br /> A. Location for the existing concrete walls to be raised to be 9'-1"t tall with plan view and <br /> sections At the existing east structural steel columns, the wall shall be designed to extend <br /> for the full height of the new wall such that there are no gaps in the length of the wall <br /> B. The Plans shall include the general location for entry and exit remote operation, rolling <br /> security gates including operating pads as provided by a gate supplier to be selected by the <br /> County We understand the entry and exit gates will need to be shown as operating <br /> independently. (Selection & Design of the gates shall be provided by the County.) <br /> C. We shall depict the location for a pedestrian door in the south wall The location of the door <br /> shall be within range of existing or new security camera equipment. <br /> D. We shall depict the proposed removal of the landscape bed wall abutting the east wall of the <br /> structure. The existing concrete pavement will be extended to meet the building wall. (The <br /> building wall will need to be modified after the planter wall and soil are removed to eliminate <br /> the revealed black waterproofing sealant to a more aesthetic appearance. The specification <br /> for the building wall treatment is not included in our scope ) <br /> In order to allow for the improvements to be constructed, we shall file an application for a Minor <br /> Change to an Approved Site Plan with the City of Vero Beach. Following the submittal, we shall <br /> respond to reasonable comments pertaining to the application(s). <br /> Task III —Design (Structural): <br /> We shall retain the services of a structural engineering sub-consultant to perform the structural <br /> engineering design services needed for this project. A structural engineering design shall be <br /> provided for the proposed wall vertical extension and new full height walls at columns <br /> Task IV—Electrical Design. <br /> Treasure Coast Engineering will provide the Electrical design services on the above referenced <br /> project. Project parameters consist of a new 9'-1" +/- wall and a rolling gate system for an existing <br /> judges' parking lot. Accurate as-built drawings of the existing facility shall be provided by County <br /> and used as the basis of design. <br /> • Locate all electrical (i e. receptacles, switched, transformers, motors, and panels) and <br /> lighting (i.e. fixtures and lighting controls) components. <br /> • Circuit and homerun all components <br /> • Calculate and create a voltage drop schedule. <br /> • Create specifications that consist of at minimum wiring methods and materials <br /> M <br /> M <br />
