5. 7 Each party shall copy the other on any and all correspondence pertaining to the <br /> contract sent to or received from PERC. <br /> ARTICLE 6 <br /> BULLETIN BOARDS <br /> 6.1 The County will furnish space for the Union to place one bulletin board at each <br /> location where bargaining unit employees regularly report to work. <br /> 6.2 The Human Resources Director shall approve the exact location for placement of <br /> all bulletin boards. Bulletin boards may be no larger than 20 inches by 30 inches, <br /> unless mutually agreed to by the parties. <br /> 6.3 All notices placed on such bulletin boards shall relate solely to official union <br /> business. Notices posted shall not contain derogatory, defamatory, inflammatory, <br /> or untrue statements about the County or any of its officials. Bulletin boards shall <br /> not be used to communicate with the general public, to distribute political matter, <br /> or for advertising. All notices shall clearly state that they are "Teamster Notices" <br /> and shall be signed and dated by the union business representative or chief <br /> steward, who will accept full responsibility for their content. The Union shall <br /> attempt to furnish a copy of any material to be posted to the Human Resources <br /> Director or her designee prior to posting. If the Union is unable to furnish the <br /> materials prior to posting, the materials shall be furnished as soon as possible <br /> after posting. <br /> 6.4 The union stewards shall check all bulletin boards at reasonable intervals to <br /> ensure that no unauthorized materials have been posted. If unauthorized <br /> materials have been posted or if the union chief steward has been notified that <br /> bulletin boards contain unauthorized materials, the union chief steward shall <br /> cause such unauthorized materials to be removed immediately. If the <br /> unauthorized material is not removed by the union chief steward, it may be <br /> immediately removed by the County. Employees who post material that violate <br /> this Article may be subject to disciplinary action in accordable with applicable <br /> rules and regulations. <br /> 6 <br />
