Chris also worked to open new transportation facilities such as 53'd Street between 5e <br />Avenue and USI and 66`x' Avenue between Oslo Road and 49'h Street. Roadway and <br />street lighting improvements were done in Vero Lake Estates and Oslo Park <br />subdivisions, as well as intersection improvement projects. Chris also fine-tuned and <br />expanded the County petition paving and millings program. Under his direction, the <br />Sector 3 truck -haul beach restoration project was accomplished and a new balyield <br />and multi -sport complex was designed and constructed at Historic Dodgertown. He <br />was also responsible for the new traffic signal adaptive control system which is <br />currently under construction and is expected to be completed this year, and <br />WHEREAS, Chris Mora has served this County and the Public with distinction and <br />selflessness. During his twenty-one years of service, he was dedicated and his work <br />was greatly appreciated by his employer, citizens, and co-workers alike; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />applauds Chris Mora's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to <br />express their appreciation for the dedicated service he has given to Indian River <br />County for the last twenty-one years; and <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff <br />extend heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br />Adopted this 24th day of May 2016. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />_Aol�aA_4_� <br />Bob Solari, Chairman <br />
