Temporary Judicial Support: This budget submission includes $40,000.00 in Other • <br />Professional Services from the Court Innovations fund, to hire temporary secretaries to <br />provide administrative assistance in judges' offices when their judicial assistants are out on <br />medical or extended leave. <br />6. Strategic Planning: This budget submission includes $20,000.00 from the Court <br />Innovations fund for judicial and administrative strategic planning for the 19th Judicial <br />Circuit. <br />H. Pay and Equity <br />1. Pay Increases: The State Court System has requested a pay increase for its staff in its <br />Legislative Budget Request. However, neither the Legislature nor the Governor provided <br />for across the board pay increases. While there are no across the board pay increases, there <br />may be allowance for merit increases. As such this Circuit may seek merit increases for <br />staff funded through County funds if funds are available. Please also see Interlocal <br />Agreement C08-04-166 and Interlocal Agreement C09-10-656. <br />Thank you for your consideration of this matter. Please feel free to contact Chief Judge Elizabeth A.
