c 11 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014- 094 <br />WHEREAS, the County's current CATF is made up of 11 members with 4 <br />positions currently vacant; and <br />WHEREAS, an income survey of the current seven active members of the <br />CATF indicates that only three members are from low to moderate income <br />households); and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to re -structure and <br />re-establish the Citizens Advisory Task Force (CATF) in a manner that satisfies <br />current CDBG requirements and point -maximizing incentives. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA; that <br />SECTION 1. Establishment <br />The Board of County Commissioners hereby re-establishes and restructures <br />the County's CATF by establishing a new 5 member CATF that satisfies current <br />CDBG rules, and the 51% low to moderate income member composition incentive. <br />SECTION 2. Membership <br />At least 3 of the new 5 member CDBG CATF shall be from low to moderate <br />income households. Members shall be appointed by a majority vote of the Board of <br />County Commissioners and serve at the pleasure of the Board with a maximum <br />term of 4 years. Each member may be re -appointed to the CDBG CATF by the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />SECTION 3. Communitv Development Plan <br />For the purposes of CDBG applications, the Indian River County <br />Comprehensive Plan is hereby designated as the County's Community Development <br />Plan. <br />2 <br />
