Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />Subject: Request for Approval of First Amendment to "Vero Beach Rocktoberfest" <br />License Agreement for Use of the Indian River County Fairgrounds <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITONS: <br />On March 15, 2016, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners ("Board") executed <br />a License Agreement with Fully Involved Event Productions, LLC. ("Applicant") granting the <br />Applicant a license to produce a music and entertainment event entitled "Rocktoberfest" to be held <br />at the Indian River County Fairgrounds during the weekend of October 21" — 23rd, 2016 (the <br />"License Agreement). <br />The attached First Amendment ("Amendment") to the License Agreement corrects a scrivener's <br />error to reflect the actual event dates. It also deletes reference to Section 205.08, which has been <br />amended by the Board and is no longer applicable. The Amendment also updates the insurance <br />sections to reflect the Applicant's election to utilize a licensed non-profit organization to conduct <br />alcohol sales at the event in accordance with County's policy. This election requires an increase to <br />the Liquor Liability Insurance Section from $1,000,000 Combined Single Limit to $3,000,000 <br />Combined Single Limit. The County Risk Manager has approved the insurance threshold levels. <br />The Amendment to the License Agreement has been approved by the County Attorney's Office as <br />to form and legal sufficiency. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends: 1) Approval of the attached First Amendment to the Vero Beach <br />"Rocktoberfest" License Agreement with authorization for the Chairman to sign on behalf of the <br />Board of County Commission. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />First Amendment of "Vero Beach Rocktoberfest" - IRC Fairgrounds License Agreement <br />Executed Indian River County Fairgrounds License Agreement signed March 15, 2016 <br />Approved Age da Item <br />BY: (�Vl � <br />Vnty <br />E.
