SECTION 1- Technical Specifications <br /> STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. All work of this Contract shall conform to the applicable technical specifications of <br /> Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge <br /> Construction, January 2016, and Supplemental Specification, Special Provisions <br /> and addenda thereto, except as modified and supplemented hereinafter. <br /> Reference to Article numbers herein-after apply to the FDOT Standard <br /> Specifications, and reference in FDOT Standard Specifications to Department shall <br /> be taken as the Owner or its appointed Representative. Wherever the <br /> Specifications, Supplementals, etc. may refer to the"Owner", "Department", "State <br /> of Florida Department of Transportation", or words relating to offices of State <br /> Government, such words shall be taken as meaning Owner or Indian River County, <br /> Florida. Wherever the word "Owner's Engineer", "District Engineer", "Engineer", <br /> "Project Engineer", etc., appears, it shall be taken to mean the Registered <br /> Professional Project Engineer of the Indian River County Public Works <br /> Department, Engineering Division acting directly or through duly authorized <br /> representatives. Wherever the word "Resident Engineer"appears, it shall be taken <br /> to mean an authorized representative of the Owner's Engineer on the Project <br /> (Resident Construction Inspector)who will act as an agent for Indian River County, <br /> assigned to observe the progress quantity and quality of the work. <br /> The work to be performed for utility work shall conform to the applicable technical <br /> specifications of Indian River County Department of Utility Services, Water, <br /> Wastewater, Utility Standards Dated December 1, 2015 or the current version. <br /> The work to be performed per line items 700 through 711 shall conform to the <br /> Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, the F.D.O.T Standard Specifications <br /> and the Indian River County Typical Drawings for Pavement Markings, Signing & <br /> Geometrics Revised March, 2012. <br /> SECTION 4- SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Section 4-3.9 Value Engineering Incentive is deleted in its entirety. <br /> SECTION 101 - MOBILIZATION <br /> The work specified in this section shall conform to Section 101 of the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.01 The work specified in this section shall include: <br /> A.
