Although not directly mentioned, the bill is actually <br />directed at billing for cremation fees. <br />The District 19 Medical Examiner Office along with the majority of other districts has received funding <br />for investigating and certifying cremation_ requests. <br />if the companion bill is passed in the Senate, HR 301 will take effect on October 1, 2014.
