He added that there is ongoing education in the <br />community regarding the importance of healthy eating. <br />Gifford resident Ms. Myra Ferguson asked for and received clarification <br />regarding the time length of the permits and the application procedures for the <br />proposed regulations. <br />Gifford business owner Ms. Wanda Scott asked for and received <br />clarification regarding fees, tax considerations and location criteria for the <br />farmer's markets. <br />Julianne Price, Florida Department of Health, voiced her strong support for <br />this regulation and her belief that it would increase access and availability for <br />fresh fruit and vegetables in the Gifford area. <br />ON MOTION BY Dr. Day, SECONDED BY Mr. <br />Emmons, the members voted unanimously (5-0) to <br />approve staff recommendations on this Legislative <br />matter. <br />Vice Chairman Brognano read the following into the record: <br />C.
