Date: December 9. 2016 <br />The Event: The Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert provides companies and individuals with cause - <br />related marketing and entertainment benefits along with a strong community association. Since <br />2006, Platinum -Certified RCA Nashville Recording Artist Jake Owen has held this annual charity <br />concert to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and youth organizations in Owen's <br />hometown of Indian River County, including, the Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County, <br />Hibiscus Children's Center and Mardy Fish Children's Foundation. <br />The 2016 Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert will be an intimate performance with country <br />superstar Jake Owen and his band at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center in <br />Vero Beach, Fla. A VIP Reception with silent auction for sponsors will precede the Concert. <br />Beneficiary: Jake Owen Foundation <br />Founded in 2010, the Jake Owen Foundation was created to offer its support on a national level to <br />children battling cancer and other childhood diseases through St. Jude Children's Research Hospital <br />while also lending its support to youth organizations and various charities in Owen's hometown area <br />of Indian River County, FL. Through Jake's association within the country music community, he has <br />had the opportunity to visit children and families at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. <br />TN, who are benefiting from the extensive research and patient -care the hospital provides. Once a <br />patient is accepted, St. Jude covers all the medical costs beyond those covered by insurance, and <br />families without insurance are never asked to pay. <br />The local organizations benefiting from Jake's annual benefit concert assist youth with illnesses, <br />shelter, food, education, health and fitness, the arts and the opportunity to better themselves through <br />various programs and organizations.
