Brown, County Administrator <br />From: Vincent Burke, P.E., Director of Utility Services <br />Prepared By: Arjuna Weragoda, P.E., Capital Projects Manager Aw <br />Subject: Final Pay and Release of Retainage to Mack Concrete Industries, Inc., for a New Package <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant at Blue Cypress Lake — UCP #4102, Bid No. 2015044 <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS: <br />On July 14, 2015, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) awarded the contract for the <br />New Package Wastewater Treatment Plant at Blue Cypress Lake to Mack Concrete Industries, Inc. at a cost of <br />$314,000.00. The Certificate of Substantial Completion was issued on May 31, 2016. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Mack Concrete Industries has installed the New Package Wastewater Treatment Plant at Blue Cypress Lake on <br />time and under budget, and is requesting a final release of retainage. To date, Mack Concrete Industries has <br />been paid $245,600.87. Payment in the amount of $42,926.36, including release of retainage, will complete <br />the County's obligation to the contractor. The project came in $25,472.77 under budget. <br />FUNDING: <br />Funds for this project are derived from the capital budget in the operating fund.
