McCoy, AICD/ <br />Senior Planner, Curflt Development <br />DATE: July 13, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: GHA, Grand Harbor's Request for Final Plat Approval for <br />Grand Harbor Plat 8 (Road Plat for Harbor Village Drive <br />and Harbor Village Drive North) <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of July 28, 1992. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />McQueen and Associates, Inc. has submitted a final plat application <br />on behalf of GHA, Grand Harbor to receive final plat approval for <br />two road segments (separated by a presently unplatted, temporary, <br />paved roadway) to be known as Harbor Village Drive and North Harbor <br />Village Drive North. <br />Harbor Village Drive is a continuation of .the main Grand Harbor <br />loop road, and extends through PODS D and E. Harbor Village Drive <br />North is a short roadway segment used to access the Marina area. <br />In the future, Harbor Village Drive North will be extended to <br />access development proposed north of the marina. <br />All portions -of the Grand Harbor project are required to be <br />eventually platted, pursuant to subdivision, P.D., and P.R.D. <br />regulations. The proposed road plat will finalize the roadway and <br />utility alignments and assign maintenance responsibilities for the <br />private roadway,-sagments known as Harbor Village Drive and Harbor <br />Village Drive North. <br />On March 9, 1989, the Planning and Zoning Commission granted <br />preliminary PRD plat approval for PODs D and E which included the <br />segment of Harbor Village Drive covered by this final plat request. <br />Subsequently, on March 12, 1992, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />granted preliminary PRD plat approval for Harbor Village Drive <br />North as covered by this plat. The applicant is now regruesting <br />final plat approval for both roadway segments as contained on a <br />single plat, Grand Harbor Plat 8. <br />11 <br />BOOK <br />J U L <br />
