Gi <br />BOOK <br />� n <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously accepted <br />the resignation of Steven G. Wild from the Land <br />Acquisition Advisory Committee and authorized the <br />Chairman to send a letter of thanks. <br />Chairman Eggert announced that three people have sent in <br />letters asking to be considered for the appointment: <br />Peter Buetell <br />Bob Swift <br />Bob Burnett <br />Chairman Eggert asked if anyone wished to soiak on this matter <br />while the Board looks over the letters that have been received. <br />John J. Morrison, member of LAAC representing the <br />"Agriculture" interests, believed that the committee needs someone <br />with experience in managing large tracts of land. He felt that at <br />least two of the three people who have expressed an interest in <br />being appointed to the committee are qualified. <br />Herndon Williams, member of LAAC, agreed that the committee <br />should have a representative from the development community who has <br />experience in the management of large tracts of land. He believed <br />that Mr. Swift and Mr. Burnett qualify for the appointment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />appointed Bob Swift to LAAC as the "developer" <br />representative. <br />Chairman Eggert advised that the overall makeup of the <br />committee will be reviewed. <br />PUBLIC REARING --ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 401.04 FIRE PREVENTION <br />CODES fi STANDARDS <br />The hour of 9:05 o'clock A.M. having passed, Attorney Vitunac <br />announced that this Public Hearing has been properly advertised, as <br />follows: <br />12 <br />
