Indian River County Landfill <br />Modification of Permit No. 8031-245825 <br />r <br />12) Gas vents - Seament IIs The existing gas vents on Segment II eastern <br />sideslope shall be extended to new vents at the top of Segment II. <br />13) $tormwater Perimeter Ditches: The stormwater perimeter ditches shall <br />be rerouted to convey water around the combined Segment I/Segment II mound. <br />14) pivergion Herne, Diversion berms to route stormwater away from the <br />working face shall consistently be used to minimise infiltration. <br />15) Infill lament Traffic: In order to protect the integrity of the new <br />leachate collection system and infill liner, driving of vehicles directly over <br />the protective soil layer shall be prohibited. All traffic shall maneuver on <br />compacted and covered refuse, or on a compacted soil or shell rock access road. <br />16) yeachate Ouantitv: Quantities of leachate collected by the leachate <br />collection and removal system are to be recorded in gallons per day from the <br />leachate forcemain flow meter. Operators shall record daily flow amounts on a <br />standard form. Completed forms shall be compiled monthly with the compiled form <br />sent to the Landfill Manager for subsequent submittal to the Florida Department <br />of Environmental Protection on a quarterly basis. <br />17) Certificate of Construction Completion: After all significant initial <br />construction has been completed, and prior to acceptance of any solid waste, the <br />engineer of record shall complete a Certificate of Construction Completion, DEP <br />Form 62-701.900(2) and then contact the Department to arrange for Department <br />representatives to inspect the facility in the company of the permittee, the <br />engineer and the proposed on-site facility operator. <br />18) Receiving of Solid Waste in Infill Segment: The infill shall not <br />receive any solid waste until the leachate collection system is in place and <br />functional and Specific Conditions 9, 17 and 18 are satisfied. <br />19) Konitorina Plan Implementation Schedules Specific Condition No. 12 of <br />Permit No. 5031-245825 shall be deleted. Attached as Exhibit I is the new <br />Monitoring Plan Implementation Schedule. <br />20) yandfill Elevation: Specific Condition No. 29 of Permit No. <br />8031-245825 shall be deleted. The final (maximum) elevation of the landfill <br />shall be 145 feet NGVD. <br />21) pond Waste Disposal Rate: Specific Condition No. 35 of Permit No. <br />8031-245825 shall be deleted. The solid waste disposal rate for this source is <br />320-370 tons/day as stated in the application.
