CONTRACT AGREEMENT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />CLASS I LANDFILL OPERATIONS, MANAGEMENT AND POST CLOSURE CONTRACT <br />This agreement is entered into this day of 7/0-V ! 1997 by and <br />between the Solid Waste Disposal District, a special district of Indian River County, Florida, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "SWDD", and the Contractor, hereinafter refereed to as the <br />"Contractor", for the services set forth herein. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS the SWDD is responsible for the Operations of publicly contracted residential refuse <br />disposal in the County: and <br />WHEREAS, the SWDD wishes to employ the Contractor to provide Operations and operations <br />services for its Class I landfills; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these premises the parties hereto, intending to be <br />legally bound, covenant and agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE.1 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The Work to be performed under this contract shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, <br />complete operation and operations services for the Class I landfills including application of daily <br />and intermediate cover, operation and maintenance of contractor -furnished equipment and <br />SWDD-furnished facilities; provision and training of operations personnel; Class I post closure <br />maintenance and other disposal services as specified by this document and as required by the <br />FDEP Operations Permit <br />The Indian River Landfill Class I area shall be operational during the operating hours of the <br />landfill: 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except for the following holidays, New Year's <br />Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. <br />A-1 <br />81660 <br />" <br />t4,1`F 41. <br />
