Default by Contractor in performance of its obligations under the Operations <br />Contract Documents. <br />2. Claims filed against the Contractor, or evidence that a claim will be filed. Written <br />correspondence by a subcontractor regarding the intention to fele a claim, or lack <br />of evidence that subcontractors have been paid for work performed are examples <br />of conditions under which the Director may consider withholding payment. <br />3. Evidence that Subcontractors have not received payment. <br />b. When grounds for withholding payment have been removed, payment will be released. <br />Delay of payment due the Contractor without cause will make County liable for payment <br />of interest to the Contractor as provided in G.S. 143-134.1. <br />ARTICLE 25 - INSURANCE <br />The Contractor shall not commence work under this Contract until he has obtained all insurance <br />required, and such insurance has been approved in writing by the Director, nor shall the <br />Contractor allow any Subcontractor to commence work on his subcontract until all similar <br />insurance required of the Subcontractor has been obtained. <br />a. Workers' Compensation - The insurance required by this paragraph shall be written from <br />not less than the following limits, or greater if required by law, and shall be maintained <br />for the life of the Contract. <br />Coverage A Statutory - State of Florida <br />Coverage B Employers Liability <br />$1,000,000 Each Accident <br />$1,000,000 Disease - Policy Limit <br />$1,000,000 Disease - Each Employee <br />The Contractor's current Experience Modification Factor must be indicated on the <br />Certificate of Insurance. <br />b. General Liability - The insurance required by this paragraph shall be written for not less <br />than the following limits, or greater if required by the law, and shall be maintained for the <br />life of the Contract. <br />The Contractor shall provide and maintain during the life of this Contract such <br />• General Liability Insurance as shall protect him and any Subcontractor performing <br />work covered by this Contract, and County for claims for damage for bodily <br />injury, including accidental death, as well as for claims for property damages <br />which may arise from operations under this Contract, whether such operations be <br />GC -14 <br />':i <br />
