HeathC4r <br />Code Enforcement Officer <br />BOOK � �` y '_b <br />F'A k � j <br />DATE: July 24, 1992 <br />SUBJECT: RELEASE OF EASEMENT REQUEST BY: <br />Doretha Jones <br />Lots 20, & 21, Block G, Oslo Park Subdivision <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular <br />meeting of August 11, 1992. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The County has been petitioned by Doretha Jones, owner of the <br />subject property, for the release of the common two and one-half (2 <br />1/2) foot side lot utility and drainage easements of Lots 20 & 21, <br />Block G, Oslo Park Subdivision. It is the petitioner's intention <br />to construct a single-family residence on the subject property. <br />The current zoning classification of the subject property is RS -6, <br />Single -Family Residential District. The Land Use Designation is L- <br />2, allowing up to six (6) units per acre. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell Telephone Company, <br />Florida Power and Light CoriOvation, United Artist's Cable <br />Corporation, the Indian River County Utilities Department and the <br />Road & Bridge and Engineering Divisions. Based upon their reviews, <br />s <br />it is staff'position that the easement release would have no <br />adverse impact to utilities being supplied to the subject property. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners, through <br />the adoption of a resolution, release the common two and one-half <br />(2 1/2) foot side lot utility and drainage easements of Lots 20 & <br />21, Block G, Oslo Park Subdivision, being the southerly two and one <br />(2 1/2) feet of Lot 20, and the northerly two and one-half (2 1/2) <br />feet of Lot 21, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat <br />Book 3, Page 96, of the Public Records of Indian River County, <br />Florida. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 92-136, abandoning certain easements in <br />the Oslo Park Subdivision, Lots 20 and 21, Block G, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />6 <br />
