Strengthening Families is an evidence -based, cost- <br />effective program — tailored to the unique needs and characteristics of each family — that aims to <br />increase family stability, enhance child development and reduce child abuse and neglect. <br />Collaboration: Devereux CBC; Children's Home Society/Family Preservation Services; <br />Healthy Families; Department of Children and Families; Hibiscus Children's Center; 211. <br />Strengthening Families Program Indian River County - 2015-2016 Fourth Quarter Results <br />Goal #1: 90% of parents will demonstrate increased positive parenting skills, according to the <br />client Participation/Satisfaction Survey. <br />Outcome: No sessions held during the 4th quarter <br />Goal #2: 90% of children who complete the Strengthening Families Program will exhibit <br />increased concentration and improved social skills, according to the client Participation/ <br />Satisfaction Survey. <br />Outcome: No sessions held during the 4th quarter <br />Goal #3: 90% of families will show increased overall family strength and resilience so that <br />children remain abuse and neglect free. <br />GIFFORD YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT CENTER <br />After School Education Program (ASEP) <br />(Program Year 2015-16) <br />Grant: $30,000 <br />Funds used as of 06/30/16: $30,000 <br />Total Children Served as of 09/30/16: 207 <br />P179 <br />
