Cost Per Child: Per the Annual Report for 2015-216 funding year, the cost per child is $144.93 <br />per child. (This does not include parents served). <br />Focus Area Addressed: Childcare/Child Health & Education <br />Taxonomy Number: PS -9800.9900 Youth Enrichment Program <br />Program Description: The After School Education Program (ASEP) is an after-school program <br />for children in grades K-12. This program offers educational assistance through tutoring, <br />homework assistance, personal growth and development, cultural, social and recreational <br />activities. <br />Collaboration: School District of Indian River County, Moonshot Moment/The Learning Alliance, <br />Indian River County Extension Program, Indian River County Library System, Riverside <br />Children's Theatre, Youth Guidance, Vero Beach Museum of Art. <br />Comment/2010 Monitoring. N/A <br />GOALS/OUTCOMES REPORT (10/1/2015 — 09/30/2016) <br />Goal #1: Increase academic performance as measured by report cards, progress reports and/or <br />pre/post tests for 80% of students attending three nine -week periods of the 2015-16 school <br />year. <br />Outcome: Goal met — 93% of students have increased their academic performance <br />based on report cards, progress reports and/or pre/posttests during three nine -week <br />periods. <br />Goal #2: 93% of students will complete their homework as measured by homework completion <br />logs <br />Outcome: Goal met — 92% of students completed their homework prior to leaving the <br />Center as measured by homework completion Togs. <br />Goal #3: 92% of students enrolled for at least three nine -weeks for the 2015-16 school year will <br />not be suspended or expelled from school as reported by self -reports and/or school incidence <br />reports. <br />Outcome: Goal met — 98% of students during the three nine -week periods were not <br />suspended or expelled from school as reported by self -reports and/or school incidence <br />reports. <br />GIVING KIDS A CHANCE <br />Healthy Families of IRC <br />(Program Year 10/1/2015-9/30/2016 Final Report) <br />P180 <br />
