Chairman Eggert opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 92-33, amending Chapter 305, Courts, to <br />include a distribution of civil penalties to the <br />fund for the local Law Enforcement Education Fund. <br />7/29/92(Legal) docs\chap305 (TPO/sb) <br />ORDINANCE 92- 33 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 305, COURTS, <br />TO INCLUDE A DISTRIBUTION OF CIVIL <br />PENALTIES TO THE FUND FOR THE LOCAL LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT EDUCATION FUND. <br />BENT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida that: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br />Section 305.03 is amended by the addition of a new <br />subsection (3) to read as follows: <br />(3) In addition to the costs assessed pursuant to Section <br />943.25, F.S., 1991, 25% of all civil penalties received by <br />the County courts, pursuant to Section 318.21, F.S., 1991, <br />for violations occurring within the unincorporated area of <br />the County shall be used to fund the local criminal justice <br />training fund. <br />SECTION 2.
