1 <br />439 <br />Cert i, 732 sale of . 1928 for the sum of $10.76 <br />The Farmers Bank of Vero Beach, Florida, having heretofore been designated as <br />County Depository for the year July lst 1932 to the first Monday in July 19339 at the <br />meeting of the Board held in June 19329 and such Bank having failed to properly qualify <br />as such depository, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was ordered that the <br />BAFMTT NATIONAL BANK OF COCOA, FLORIDA, be designated the County Depository for such <br />period, and that Depository bond be set at the sum of $10,000.00 in Government bonds, <br />same to be increased as funds over and above that amount is on deposit in such <br />designated depository. <br />The following Road Committee report ma,s received, read and filed: <br />+RQAD C CMITTEE' REPORT. <br />We, the undersigned Committee, appointed by your Honorable body on the 10th day <br />of June 19329 with instructions to view and mark out the best route for a public road, <br />described in the petition as follows: to -wit: - <br />Beginning at the East end of the Aabasso Bridge across the Indian River <br />run Northerly along the East shore of the said --River and along the West Boundaries and <br />across Govt Lots 7, 69. 3 and 2, of Section 22 Tp 31 S R 39'-B , and the 'West boundary <br />of Govt Lot 9 of Sec. 15 Tp 31 3 R 39 E., to the North-west corner of the last mention- <br />ed lot and to the intersection with the present County Road as shown on attached map., <br />beg leave to report to your honors as follows: That we, after having subscribed to the <br />oath required by law before entering on our duties make this our general report: <br />That we proceeded to the said proposed location of the said public road on the 1st <br />day of December 1932, and viewed and marked out the following as the best route for said <br />proposed road. (Said road is to be 50 feet wide.) <br />Beginning at the East end of the Vabasso Bridge across the Indian River run Northerly <br />along the East shore of said river and along the West boundaries and across Govt. Lots <br />79 6, 3 and 2 of Section 22 Tp 31 5 R 39 E., and the gest boundary of Govt Lots 9 of <br />Sec. 15 Tp 31-S R <br />39 E., to the North-west <br />corner of the <br />last mentioned lot and to the <br />intersection with <br />the present County road <br />as shown on map <br />attached to the original <br />road petition filed. <br />THBREFORF, having performed the duties required by law under the appointment of <br />your honors, we pray to be discharged. <br />A. It was ordered that said road be advertised, and if no protest <br />is filed within 30 days after said advertisement is mamt.posted as required by law, <br />same will be declared a public County road. <br />The following resolution was offered: <br />WHFMAS, Trans -Florida Central Railroad operating between Sebastian and Fellsmere <br />Florida, solely for the convenience of the citizens of Fellsmere, has been operating <br />at a loss for the past several years, and <br />WHEREAS, said Company has been paying taxes regularly each year on an excessive <br />valuation and high millage rate, but the Railroad assessment Board of this State has, <br />for the year 1932, materially reduced the valuation upon which taxes are computed for <br />said year, and <br />WHEREAS, all taxes have been paid by said Railroad Company except for the years <br />1931 and the current taxes for 1932 which became due November 1st 1932; and <br />W1EREAa, said Railroad Company has made an offer to pay all taxes due for the <br />
